Excitement is building for the 2022 Miss Arab Universe Pageant with twenty four contestants competing for the title of Miss Arab 2022. Miss Arab Universe pageant will not only include contestants from the Arab world, but will also include all young ladies around the universe of Arab origin.
The Miss Arab Pageant has been organized and produced by The Arab American Organization (AAO) since 2010. AAO is a registered non-profit organization and is classified as a public charity in the United States.
The organization has announced details regarding requirements, some of the 2022 pageant requirements are:
· Be between the ages 18 and 28 as of July 1st, 2022.
· At least one parent or grandparent must be of Arab origin.
· Must be a naturally-born genetic female.
· Be of good health and moral character.
· Live anywhere in the universe.
· High school graduate or will become a high school graduate no later than July 1st, 2022.
As head covers are part of many Arab countries’ cultural traditions, the organization emphasizes that head covers will be accepted in The Miss Arab Pageant. Additionally, talent is not required to be a contestant and will be a separate portion .of the show.
During the event, the Miss Arab USA will also be crowned as well as the Miss Arab Talent. Contestants will be given an opportunity to showcase any talent they choose to the audience and earn a score from the judges for a chance to win the title of Miss Arab Talent.
This unique pageant will be different than any other Pageants around the world. Swimsuit competition as well as body qualifications will not have an impact in our pageant because we truly pride ourselves on the beauty of the mind, community pride, and education.
“The Pageant winner will be chosen based upon her general elegance, education and world knowledge, skill set, talents, community involvement, and service,” Amani Elsharkawi, the vice president said. The organization believes in focusing on internal characteristics and personality to choose the most well-rounded and qualified winner to be Miss Arab Universe.
Mrs. Elsharkawi also points out that “since 2010, contestants are not judged on their looks or “outward physical appearance,” and the swimsuit contest is a thing of the past.”
Mr. Ashraf Elgamal, the founder of the Arab American Organization and executive producer, and the founder of Miss Arab Pageant said “This is a non-political, non-religious platform for young ladies to achieve personal growth and development, take pride in their heritage, discover their inner beauty in achieving their humanitarian goals in life and lay a strong foundation as leaders of the future.”
The Miss Arab Organization announced that it will start the screening of the new set of aspirants in April who will compete in the beauty pageant’s 2022 edition. The pageant will continue accepting contestant applications until the end of March 2022.
“The organization has not yet confirmed which TV channel will broadcast the event, but we are currently reviewing all proposals and will announce our media partner very soon. We are excited for our return after over 2 years and cannot wait to put on an amazing showcase of the most prestigious Arab pageant in the world. ” said Mr. Elgamal.

تتويج ملكة جمال العرب في الكون هذا الصيف
تتزايد وتيرة الإثارة مع أقتراب مسابقة ملكة جمال الكون بنسختها العربية لعام 2022 بمشاركة أربعة وعشرين متسابقة يتنافسون على لقب ملكة جمال العرب لعام 2022. و مسابقة ملكة جمال الكون العربية لا تضم متسابقات من العالم العربي فحسب ، بل ستشمل أيضًا جميع الشابات من جميع أنحاء العالم من ذوي الأصول العربية .
وسوف تقام المسابقة هذا العام بالولايات المتحدة الأمريكية حيث تقوم بتنظيمها المنظمة العربية الأمريكية منذ عام 2010
وأعلنت المنظمة عن أهم المؤهلات التي يجب ان تتوافر بمتسابقات هذا العام وهي:
• أن يتراوح العمر بين 18 و 28 عامًا.
• أن يكون أحد الوالدين أو الجد من أصل عربي.
• أن تكون حسنه السمعه و الصحة.
• لا يشترط أن تكون مقيمة بدولة عربية وتقبل المشاركات من جميع أنحاء العالم.
• حاصلة علي الشهادة الثانوية في موعد أقصاه 1 يوليو/ تموز 2022.
ونظرًا لأن غطاء الرأس هو جزء من التقاليد الثقافية للعديد من البلدان العربية ، لذا تؤكد المنظمة أنه سيتم قبول أغطية الرأس في مسابقة ملكة جمال العرب.
وستكون هذه المسابقة الفريدة مختلفة عن أي مسابقة ملكات جمال أخرى حول العالم. حيث لن يكون هناك منافسة لملابس السباحة أو مؤهلات الجسد الخارجية.
وقالت أماني الشرقاوي ، نائبة رئيس المنظمة: “سيتم اختيار الفائزة على أساس أناقتها العامة ، والتعليم والمعرفة العامة ، ومجموعة المهارات ، والمواهب ، والمشاركة المجتمعية ، والخدمة العامة”. تؤمن المنظمة بالتركيز على الخصائص والشخصية الداخلية لاختيار الفائزة الأكثر تأهيلاً لتكون ملكة جمال الكون العربية.
تشير السيدة الشرقاوي أيضًا إلى أنه “منذ عام 2010 ، لا يتم الحكم على المتسابقين بناءً على مظهرهم أو” مظهرهم الخارجي “، كما أن مسابقة ملابس السباحة أصبحت شيئًا من الماضي”.

وأعلنت منظمة ملكة جمال العرب أنها ستستمر في قبول طلبات المتسابقات حتى نهاية شهر مارس/ آذار 2022 حيث تبدء بعد ذلك مرحلة التصفيات لأختيار المشاركات بالمسابقة النهائية لهذا العام والتي سوف تقام بولاية أريزونا بالولايات المتحدة الأمريكية.
ولم تعلن المنظمة بعد عن القناة التلفزيونية التي سوف تبث الأحتفال حول العالم ، وأضافوا اننا نقوم حاليًا بمراجعة جميع العروض وسنعلن عن شريكنا الإعلامي قريبًا.
وقال الجمل ، نحن متحمسون لعودتنا بعد توقف لمدة عامين بسبب الوباء ولا يسعنا الانتظار لتقديم عرض مذهل لأهم مسابقة جمال عربية في العالم.
